IELTS Exam – Bathinda – July 17, 2016 – Ravneet Kaur

Hi Atul,I took my IELTS examination on 16th July at BATHINDA centre in Punjab (India).
It was my second experience
My previous score was
L- 9 R- 8 W6.5 S7.0
My Review about the exam:
First three sections were easy but section IV was very tough for an average candidate.
Reading was very tough, it was full of MCQ’s no list of headings were asked.
I am very sure to get over BAND 7 in my writing this time because i developed ideas very carefully and logically by using relevant examples in both the tasks. I clearly wrote all main features of Task I after paraphrasing my question then compared all relevant features by using range of vocabulary and variety of sentence structures.
In TASK II, My opinion was clear throughout my essay and i summarized main ideas in the conclusion , i also mentioned thesis statement as well as thesis outline in the introduction part.
Please suggest if i will be able to score over Band 7 or not by doing this all.
Task I : Table about different types of male and female work force in NZ during 1993 and 2003
Task II : DISCUSSION ESSAY : It is very common that sports events are organized by big companies. Some people say it has benefits for sports world. Some other think that it has more disadvantages. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
I have my speaking exam on 19th July .
