I took the exam on 19th (speaking) and 20th (listening , reading, writing) of August 2016 in Coimbatore(India).Doubt:
Atul, before sharing my questions I have a doubt to clear. I wrote down my first name with a pen instead of a pencil in reading answer sheet. When I pointed out this invigilator said to strike off my name with a pencil and write down my full name with pencil itself besides that. I would like to know whether my result will be withheld because of this.
Speaking:
Although I am not very good at speaking everything went well as topics were simple.
Warm up section questions:
1. Describe your hometown
2. Describe your house and favourite room
3. Which type of modification do you want to do in your house?
4. Are you interested in science? why?
Cue card: Describe a story that you enjoyed watching in a Television.
What is it?
When did you saw it?
Who all were the characters?
What happened in the story?
Explain why you enjoyed it?
2-way discussion
1. Importance of tv in education
2. Advantages and disadvantages of watching tv among pupils
3. In the future will tv replace textbooks? Explain.
Listening
Section 1: 2 friends going for a trip. Their plans and advice
Section 2: Map of a hotel and describing various kinds of rooms and parking areas in hotel
Section 3: Conversation between 2 individuals about programs that are conducting in a college
Section 4: A lecture about a disease (photic sneezing or something. Can’t remember)
Overall every section was easy
Reading
2nd section was a bit confusing for me, especially matching headings with paragraphs
1. About child labour
2. About bumblebees and wasps
3. Advantages of living in foreign country
Writing
Task 1: A table on waste production among 6 countries in the years 1980, 1990 and 2000
Task 2: Some say children are having so much freedom nowadays. To what extend do you agree with this point.
