Hello! I had IELTS exam today (9 July 2016) in Kazakhstan.
Writing task 1: Data table about students of 6 different departments (Maths, English, History, Modern languages, Chemistry and Physics) in Australian University (3 columns % of females, % native language not English, % born outside Australia) in 2009.
Writing task 2 : Many people regard film as less important form of art than literature and painting. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
Atul, one question to you on task 2. I disagreed with the statement and wrote that “In my opinion, I believe film is as important form of art as literature and painting, because movie provides a combination of different mediums, such as visual and audio information that makes this art special. On top, movies support other types of art, to reflect better the idea of the author” (i brought examples of books that were transformed into movies and some movies about painting arts that explain the idea behind the piece of art).
I am not sure whether my arguments are strong and relevant ((( could you pls comment on this?
Thanks a lot for your help and wonderful website!
