Dear Atul,I’ve taken IELTS exam (Academic module) on July 16, 2016 (Kyiv, Ukraine).
Writing task 1
A bar chart that shows the amount of fertile land that was damaged in 4 regions of the world.
Writing task 2
Schools should be responsible for teaching good behavior in addition to providing formal education. Do you agree or disagree?
The arguments I provided in my essay were the following:
1) agree – because schools play a major role in children’s stable upbringing; therefore, they have the opportunity to reveal negative trends in juniors’ conduct and correct it;
2) however, other representatives of society, including family members and peers, are also responsible for teaching children what behavioral patterns are acceptable in the society.
Do you think this approach is appropriate?
I was aware that it would be better to choose one position (either agree or disagree) but I couldn’t find at least 2 arguments in short time…
