Hi Atul,I sat IELTS General Training exam on the 21st of May in New Zealand. I don’t exactly remember the wording for the question but it was about the comparison of starting school at the age of 4 and 7. We were asked that ‘ does starting school at the age of four have more advantages or more disadvantages?’. My question is as to how we should approach this kind of a question? Should we focus on advantages and disadvantages equally and state our own opinion about which side outweighs the other? Also, the question here isn’t asking our own opinion. Would it be ok to mention our own opinions in the essay (saying ‘I would argue that starting school at the age of four has more advantages’ etc?
Thank you Atul.
