Hi, Atul! Just wanted to thank you for sharing your lessons which helped me quite a lot throughout my ielts journey. Anyway, Im from the Philippines and I just wanted to share some details of my test. I wrote the academic module on June 25th, by the way. Speaking: some general questions about my profession. 2nd task asked me about the most overwhelming type of pollution in my hometown. 3rd task was about some follow-up questions about rubbish found in restaurants (kinda tricky) and ways on how to tackle this problem. Then the final question was about where to put trash bins in restaurants. (Really did not expect these kinds of questions)
Writing task 1 was about a line graph that showed the employment rates of men and women in 1976 and 2011 according to their ages. (this really got me quite baffled. The chart looks reversed – ages were placed in the x axis, while men & women labeled with 2011 and 1976 were the variables)
Atul: I was a bit put-off after this task because it was really confusing. Is my task 1 score going to be affected if I didnt write a conclusive summary?
Task 2 was about to what extent should I agree about the importance of governmental funding to preventing vs. treating existing illnesses.
