Hello Atul,I am writing to let you know that your website and video tutorials were very helpful to me while preparing for my IELTS. More so, because I was self-training
I finished my General Training L/R/W on 30th April. These were my the topics for Writing Task –
Task1: – You have received a letter from the College Principal informing you that the course you have applied for has been filled and suggesting you take another course. You should reply to him saying:
Why you wanted that course
What would happen if you chose the other course
What you have decided in this situation
Task2:- Nowadays, we are able to download news and listen to music freely with internet. Is this a negative or positive development?
My Speaking topic was on 27th and the Cue Card topic was to Describe a movie I watched in the Cinema Hall. I had to talk about –
What the Cinema was?
Why that Cinema was chosen?
Why was it important for me?
Follow up questions were on why people go to watch movies in Cinema Hall?
Is it better to watch a movie at home or Cinema Hall?
What are the important points for making a good Cinema?
Is a budget important?
Few more general opinion questions all relating to Cinema.
For all those who are preparing for IELTS, my suggestion is to practice the Cambridge IELTS papers and every lesson / video from Atul’s website. Also, do not expect to get only the topics posted by people here. If you have practiced enough, you should be able to crack the Exam. Good Luck to everyone taking their IELTS!!
PS: For writing exam, please practice WRITING. Your Hand writing is very important!!
Thanks,
Mandy
